When You’re Considering Applying for a Pell Grant
If you are wondering if you or someone else is eligible for a Pell Grant, go look under pell grant requirements. You’ll find a list of all the things applicants need to be eligible for to apply for a Pell Grant. Anyone who applies needs to be a U.S. citizen, and have their GED or diploma. No recent convictions or DUI’s. There are a few more requirements on the list, but those are a few. If you fit within all of the requirements, including getting good grades, it doesn’t hurt to apply. Your best bet is to apply online. Applicants stand a better chance of being awarded the grant if they apply online. So it’s a good idea to have the information at your side while you apply. Look ahead of time at all of the questions asked on the application for the Pell Grant to get a rough idea on how much time it will take you to fill out the information.
