Needing a New Job with an Attorney
When looking through the want ads for probate attorneys in Sacramento a while back, there was one that caught my eye. It had been quite a while since I worked for an attorney, but I still wanted to find something working at doing transcription along with “time and billing” procedures, similar to what I had done for another attorney back East.
The one who was in the CA paper was looking for someone who had the same experience I had so I made sure to call his office right away. They were happy to find someone as they were getting behind in a lot of their transcription work. And their time and billings were piling up too, the office manager told me. I could have the job right then and there they said, so I took it as I was out of work at the time. The attorney had so much “estate” work that my days just flew by for me.
